Danish Qayyum founded PKKH in 2009 as a blog initially, before putting together a team of around 40 volunteers and journalists and helping PKKH.tv to grow into one of Pakistan’s highly rated and best known online publications with a wide and influential reader base. PKKH.tv were among the pioneers of web-tv programming in Pakistan and have conducted talk shows, interviews, and produced documentaries. In 2010 Danish set up MERE LOG – an NGO that helped raise USD 100,000 for flood relief, temporary shelters and kitchens, food and medical aid, and rescue services during various natural disasters affecting hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis.
Danish is regularly invited to participate on regional geopolitical and security issues on leading international news media, including Al Jazeera and Russia Today.
